Introduction

Hi! My name is John Skorczewski and I want to take a quick moment to thank you for purchasing this book. I know how valuable your time and money are, and I appreciate the fact that you have sacrificed both to read this.

In this book I will be discussing something that has sparked more excitement than just about anything else on the Internet so far.

We've all grown excited at times when we've heard that a large, publicly traded company has bought another web site owned by an individual for some insanely high price. Nothing creates a buzz faster or louder it seems!

Fortunately, I've gone through this process myself and hopefully I can shed a little light on the situation for you.

As of the writing of this book I have successfully sold 2 of my web sites. One to a large publicly traded corporation, and one to a private company backed by venture capital and investment bankers.

I have also been involved in a handful of deals that ultimately didn't go through. So I've seen what works in selling a site and what doesn't work first hand.

I'm going to show you exactly what I went through selling my sites, and hopefully give you the knowledge and skills necessary to sell your own web sites.
