When you start the MyScript for Livescribe application, you open the application window, which looks like this:
At the top of the window (1), you will see the menu bar, and the standard toolbar for document and view management.
Underneath, the window is divided into two sections, a left pane (2
- the Ink pane) where the handwritten notes appear
as an image and a right pane (3 - the Results
pane) in which you can edit text and/or objects once conversion has been carried
out. Each pane has its own toolbar with specific tools, which may change according
to the type of content being converted. Click
to see hidden tools.
By default, the Ink pane is on display with the current document. You can always
open the Results pane with the
button: if the document has not previously been converted, the Results pane
will be empty.
Each separate notes document appears on its own tab (4). You can manage these with a shortcut menu by right-clicking a tab.
There is also a page display bar (5) on the left hand edge of the window, which shows previews of each page in the document - the top thumbnail previews the current page.
The status bar (6) displays the current task, the file path of the active document and its size.
You can of course use the buttons in the top right corner to minimize the window onto the task bar (7), maximize the window to fill the screen (8), or close the window (9).
You can close the MyScript for Livescribe application with the File - Exit command,
the Alt F4 shortcut key or by clicking the close
button at the top of the window.
