The problem: You’ve just edited a photograph in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. When you print it, the colors in your print don’t match the colors on your screen. The hard (and expensive) way: You read up on color management. You buy equipment to create an ICC profile for your monitor. You send out for an ICC profile for your printer, or buy equipment and software to profile your printer yourself. Then you configure Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to use these profiles to print your picture. This will cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars and a lot of time. The easy (and inexpensive) way: You don’t bother to profile your monitor. You don’t bother to read books on color management. You make one print, run one plugin once to teach it how to map your screen colors to your printer colors, and then run the other plugin whenever you want to print. You can see how easy it is here.
