On Login Start ShoveBox — With this selected, ShoveBox will place itself in your Login Items so that it's ready and waiting in your menubar when you log into your Mac.

Import URLs As — When you drag a URL into ShoveBox, you can either import it as a bookmark, an entry containing the name and address of the site or as a web archive, an archive of the page and everything on it. The default is to prompt you.

Check Spelling As I Type — With this enabled, text notes will continually check your spelling, underlining incorrectly-spelled words as you type them.

Confirm deleting entries/folders — With these options selected, ShoveBox will ask you if you're sure when you try to delete an entry or folder.

Default Note Font — This will be chosen as the font when you create a new text note or drag plain text into ShoveBox. This setting is ignored when you import already-formatted text.

Show Item Counts — With this selected, the Organizer window will display the number of items in a given folder to its right.

Use Small Icons — Use smaller icons for the folders in the Organizer.

Update Automatically — Gives ShoveBox permission to periodically check for software updates. No personal information is sent during this process.

AppearanceHot Keys

This section allows you to define your own key combinations to invoke different actions on ShoveBox.

These shortcuts will be available provided ShoveBox is running. You do not, however, need to be in ShoveBox for them to work.

UpdateLabels

This section lets you enter names to go along with the differently-colored labels you can apply to entries in the Organizer window.

RulesRules

Rules let you automatically filter incoming data. Rules are discussed in detail in the rules section.

SyncingSyncing

ShoveBox on the Mac can now sync with the companion application for iPod and iPod Touch. Syncing is discussed in its own section as well.
