Managing movies in a project.

A Splice project can contain any number of valid audiovisual movie clips. Clips that contain audio-only cannot be processed with Splice. The order that movies appear in the project playlist table will be their ordering in the resulting output file. Splice stores a bookmark to your clips, not the actual file.

Adding and removing items from your project playlist

To add one or more movies to the project playlist, do one of the following:

To remove one or more movies to the project playlist, select the movie or movies that you wish to remove, then press the Delete Key.

Organizing a project playlist

To rearrange the existing clips in a project, drag'n'drop the table entries into the desired order. Clips may be dragged between projects. You may also cut'n'paste clips to position them within a playlist.

Other ways to manage a project playlist

Use the Search Box on the toolbar to selectively filter the clips displayed in the playlist table. As you enter text into the search box, only clips whose name match your search string will be displayed.

To include or exclude a clip in an output movie, select or deselect the Enabled check box to the left of each clips name.

The output movie contains only those clips displayed in the project playlist table and those that have the Enabled check box selected.
